Monday night counselor Kelly came over to my friend's apartment to play some cards. She came after her rehearsal and she came in with ... a full backpack. It had some rehearsal shoes in it, but it was definitely her camp backpack. She had sunscreen ... extra playing cards ... and was just using her camp backpack as a purse.
She even made the comment about how with camp now she totally never uses a purse anymore.
This has prompted me to nominate her as the biggest camp counselor nerd! I mean that lovingly as I love Kelly to death.
My other nomination goes to Walter, because of the hip pack that everyone loves. I love that thing to death and believe me, I think he pulls it off and make it look sweet ... but nonetheless it is a hip pack and Kelly did use her camp backpack as a purse during the off week ...
Thus, I nominate them the two Camp Counselor Nerds at Camp Wa-Nik'-Ska-Ka! Hahaha, oh come on you two, you know that's funny! I love ya both to death and at least we haven't seen Walter's hippack outside of camp!
Rock on guys and keep on doing what you're doing, you're amazing counselors! You're nerds, but you're still amazing counselors.

And thanks for the nomination, Jim, sir. It's my camp/Sound of Music rehearsal backpack, and yes, it really is too much trouble to switch all my ID's, money, checkbooks, etc. over to a purse every time I need to go somewhere that isn't camp . . .
And, just for the record, I soooo took a purse last night to BWW. It's not my fault --someone-- wasn't there to see it . . . ;o)
