So that's it. The summer is over. I just want to thank everyone for helping to make this summer as much fun as it was. It's sad that it's over for me, but hopefully next year we will all come back and do it again. Also, as for the question posted earlier, I am definately in favor of using the blog through the school year as a means of keeping in touch.
And so, because it is my last day, I am actually going to submit a story...
So today at mini-golf while we were explaining the rules, I told the campers they could name their golf clubs because they were their new best friends and they need to take good care of them. After we finished talking about the clubs, I began to explain that in each group, a each person needed to use a different colored ball. One kid asked, "Can we name our balls?" The comment flew right over the camper's heads, the mini gold attendent and I could barely contain ourselves.
Jim, what is the status of the Fear Factor video? I'm pretty sure there are many counselors who would love to see. Also, remember that I need that tape back.
